Enhanced Connectivity and Services

CEA has set up seven arrivals and departures centers across six major airports in China, including a dedicated service desk at Harbin Taiping International Airport. These centers have already managed over 100 flights, welcoming delegations from more than 30 countries. Currently, CEA operates 30 routes in and out of Harbin, connecting the city with major domestic hubs such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, and Kunming, as well as international destinations including Tokyo, Seoul, and Bangkok. The airline runs nearly 80 flights daily to and from Harbin.

Passengers can check in at airport counters adorned with Asian Winter Games elements, receive commemorative boarding passes, board themed aircraft, and enjoy in-flight meals featuring local specialties like Harbin red sausage and Northeast clear noodles. Additionally, travelers are presented with Asian Winter Games souvenirs, enhancing their overall experience.

Integration with Harbin's 'Ice City' Atmosphere

Beyond the airport, CEA's presence is evident throughout Harbin. At the renowned Harbin Ice and Snow World, visitors are captivated by intricate ice sculptures depicting CEA’s C919 jetliner and Shanghai’s iconic skyline, making these installations popular spots for photos and social media shares.

Meeting Increased Demand

Since February 4, CEA has handled more than 13,000 passenger arrivals and departures in Harbin daily. Demand for flights has surged, with routes to Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu consistently exceeding a 90 percent passenger load factor. To enhance the travel experience, CEA offers a comprehensive service covering check-in assistance, flight transfers, baggage claim, and rebooking services.

Global Outreach

With China’s visa-free and streamlined visa policies facilitating international travel, CEA is not only bringing the world to Harbin but also spreading the energy and excitement of the Asian Winter Games to global departure points through its expanding flight network.

As the games progress, CEA's strategic initiatives are expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient transportation and enriching the experience for all attendees.
